Leftover Brisket Street Tacos

Leftover Brisket is the perfect meat to transform into just about any dish one can dream up.  With Leftover Brisket Street Tacos, we utilize the spiced and smokey flavors of a smoked brisket from the grill and incorporate them into a simple handheld dish that takes no time to prepare.  With a scratch-made Smoked Salsa Verde to bring the dish together, the flavors of your outdoor cook are imparted throughout.

Directions:
  1. Chop or shred brisket

  2. Place tortillas directly on smoker grate for 1-2 minutes to warm tortilla

  3. Place tortillas on a plate and place brisket in line down the center of the tortilla.

  4. Top brisket with Smoked Verde Salsa

  5. Sprinkle Cotija cheese over Smoked Verde Salsa

  6. Top with Croix Valley Tequila Lime BBQ and Wing Sauce


Smoked Salsa Verde

  • 1 1/2 lb Tomatillos

  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion

  • 2 Tbsp Croix Valley Garlic Booster

  • 1/2 cup fresh Cilantro 

  • 1 Tbsp fresh Lime Juice

  • 2 Jalapeño Peppers 

 Directions: 

  1. Remove husk from tomatillos and place on the smoker and smoke at 225-250 degrees for 30 minutes until tender.

  2. Place all ingredients in the blender and pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped and mixed and to desired consistency.

  3. Place salsa in the refrigerator to chill.
