Mike Lester | Croix Valley Pit Crew | British Columbia

Mike Lester grew up in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia in a town called Chilliwack. He eventually landed in Fort St. John, British Columbia, where he’s been living with his wife and two kids for the last 10 years.

Mike works as the operations support specialist for a local company called Armour lubricants and works part-time in their sister company Grill Pros and Outdoor living! Mike has always had a passion for cooking but truly took to grilling during the lockdowns. This quickly turned into a passion and led to him starting the 250NorthernBBQ social pages to share his creations. Mike also was one of the founding members of The Eh BC’s of Canadian BBQ (The Eh-BC’s of CDN BBQ ),where he and his dear friend Brad from (@cdndrumsmokerandco) chatted with many amazing guest and talked about all things Canadian bbq, bourbon and beyond. The show has been on hiatus for some time now but there is chatter that it may get back up and running soon! Mikes love for BBQ has seen him do some catering events for up to 500 people! Mike tries to do a few BBQ fundraising events a year where he along with his sponsors try to raise money for some amazing local charities. When he’s not working, he’s BBQing. When he’s not BBQing, he’s camping (but probably still BBQing there too), spending time with family, or entertaining his friends and family.

Mike is beyond excited to join the Croix Valley Pit Crew and begin sharing his tasty creations with all our fans and followers.
