Italian Hamburgers have been a staple at get-togethers and Holidays for generations in Damon’s Italian family. Although known in some parts as a “Hot Dago”, his ancestors would spin in their graves if we referred to this tasty sandwich by that name.
Anyone who knows Damon knows that he rarely makes the same burger style twice in a row. There are too many flavor profiles to experiment with, and a regular old burger becomes boring quickly. Be sure to check out the links at the bottom of the page for even more incredible burger recipes.
Our Italian Hamburgers utilize the flavors of the smoker to enhance this recipe passed down by generations of amazing Italian cooks from the Old Country. Fire up the smoker and slow-stew the Marinara….Buon Appetito!
