Ingredients
- 1 Bag Oyster Crackers
- 2/3 cup Canola Oil
- 2-3 Tbsp (about a capful) of your favorite Croix Valley Rub or Barbecue Booster
Directions
Simply add the oil to a zippered storage bag and add the seasoning.
Mix thoroughly until the seasoning is well incorporated into the oil and add in a bag of oyster crackers.
Shake well and let the crackers sit for at least a half hour before serving.
Recipe Note
For an extra layer of flavor, spread the crackers evenly into a foil pan or baking sheet and place on the smoker for 15-20 minutes to impart an amazing dimension of smokiness to the snacks. These crackers won't last long, but if not consumed in one sitting, simply keep them covered in an airtight container to prevent them from turning stale.
